CAS Event - 2nd Grade

A Day in Ghana

Joe and Vida Galeota will take the second grade on an imaginary day trip to West Africa. A professor at Berklee College of Music, Joe lived in Ghana for many years, and his wife, Vida, grew up in Ghana. Together, they have created a charming and rich program about the culture of
Ghana. The program brings the students to Vida’s village for a day where they will experience the family’s morning chores, the marketplace, school, and evening activities. Throughout the program, Joe and Vida present artifacts, music, games, and proverbs.
