The Wolf Fund is our annual giving campaign for the Burr PTO. It runs from October to January and brings in the majority of funding that supports PTO activities through the year. This year, our goal is to raise $24,000 through the Wolf Fund with at least half of Burr families giving a gift of any amount.

Spotlight: Community Events

This fall it has been wonderful to see the Burr community come together again. Events like the Back to School Picnic, BooFest and the Diwali and Dia de los Muertos Celebrations saw record attendance.

We want to create more opportunities to bring our community together and create wonderful lasting memories this spring at events like May Fair, the World Cultures Event and an End of Year Family Party.

Your gift in any amount helps support our school community.

Giving is easy. Choose any of these many ways to give to the Wolf Fund:
  • Give online. Click here to use your credit card, Paypal, or Venmo.

Wingmasters

Creative Arts & Sciences Welcomes Wingmasters: North American Birds of Prey (1st Grade)

North American birds of prey are also known as raptors, and their unique characteristics help them to hunt prey. Raptors also have the best eyesight and the sharpest hearing in the animal kingdom. Raptors include eagles, hawks, falcons and owls, and this presentation will incorporate live birds and give an overview of these different birds of prey. Students will learn about predation, the raptors’ place at the top of the food web, their different hunting adaptations, and their often endangered status in a rapidly changing world.

DATE: Monday, November 15, 2021

TIME: 9am -10am

Presentation will take place outside under the tent. Join us! Parents are encouraged to attend, however, younger siblings will not be able attend.

Thank you for your cooperation. This program was fully funded by your generous donations to the Burr PTO and the Burr Wolf Fund. To donate, go to Burr PTO.org and click on "Donate."

We think Burr has some of the greatest teachers and staff! They welcome our kids each day, create a foundation for the community at Burr, foster a love of learning that will last a lifetime, and many many other important tasks.

The PTO uses support from the Wolf Fund to help show the Burr teachers and staff our appreciation each year with staff breakfasts, flowers, and more to be sure they know just how much their work matters.
