Giving Tuesday

CAN YOU HELP?

Our annual Wolf Fund campaign has begun and Giving Tuesday is almost here!  Please consider the Burr PTO in your giving plans for this year.

The Wolf Fund is our annual giving campaign for the Burr PTO and runs through January.  The money raised provides the majority of funding for PTO activities throughout the year.  These funds support Educational Support, Community Events, Playground improvements and more. Our goal is to raise $22,000 through the Wolf Fund with at least 130 Burr families giving a gift of any amount.

Giving Tuesday is a global movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity to transform communities and the world.  Tuesday, November 28th is Giving Tuesday—This year generous donors have agreed to help us launch this year's campaign and raise more $$ for Burr PTO by matching our Giving Tuesday Donations. The first $50 of each donation, up to $1500 will be matched for all donations November 19-30.

Your gift in any amount helps support our school community.

BooFest—That's a Wrap!

2023 BooFest is in the books and it was AMAZING! There are so many people to thank:
  • The Boo Crew, ALL of our amazing volunteers (many who just pitched in where it was needed Sunday afternoon!), treat donors, bakers, our trunk hosts, Derek for all his help with setup and clean up. Grateful for all the trunk volunteers that showed up, especially so many coming through, we had over 10 cars that day!
  • Special thanks to the Boo Crew leads, Kayla Noblecilla, Angie Kim, Sonia Yung for leading the event with Kiki Williams, Jon Spack and Vidya Gowda for coordinating all of the volunteers, working hard on a great setup (wind was not our friend that day!). Also a great thanks to all the volunteers that showed up, especially so many trunks coming through at the end.
  • Yogurt Beach and Ward 4 for donating our prizes.
  • And thanks to everyone who attended! Much fun was had by all!
The Trunks were definitely a highlight of our BooFest, so creative and absolutely awesome! The winners were:
  • Spookiest: Camai Mazzulla with Haunted House
  • Funniest: Derick & Rutt Families with Alien Olympics
