The Burr Book Swap is Returning!

How does it work?
Check your bookshelves at home for books you've read and are ready to pass along to someone else at Burr School to enjoy. Bring the books to school (in a bag marked "Book Swap") between May 31 and June 6. On Wednesday, June 8 all classrooms will visit the Book Swap and students will be able to pick out at least two books to take home to keep and read.

What kind of books would be good for the Burr Book Swap?
  • Picture books
  • Series books - Dog Man, Elephant and Piggie, Magic Tree House, Baby Mouse...
  • cool non-fiction books
  • chapter books
  • and MORE!
Please do not bring in books that are in poor condition, preschool books, activity/workbooks, or books that are better for older children or adults.

The best part?
The Book Swap is FREE and EVERYONE will be able to pick out books to take home and read.

Volunteer to help sort books the evenings of June 6 or 7; or come June 8 and help kids select their books with their classes. Sign up here to help.

Burr Magnets Update

We wanted to share a quick update on the BURR car magnets that were promised as part of the Wolf Fund fundraising. Like so many things lately, we are being impacted by supply chain issues—but the magnets are still coming! We will let everyone know as soon as we have them, but wanted you to know we have not forgotten. Thank you for your continued patience!  ––The Burr PTO Board
