Parents, Children and Teachers Are Invited to “Meet the Author” at Understanding Our Difference’s Family Book Event. Join UOD to welcome Kimberly Brubaker Bradley to Newton! She will discuss and sign her award-winning middle grade novel, The War That Saved My Life, a story of triumph against all odds by a girl with a physical disability, set during World War II. Patti Karam, Library Teacher at Horace Mann Elementary School, will be our event moderator.
