Suzy Kline is a much loved and credited author of the ‘Horrible Harry’ series.
In a fast-paced humorous presentation, she shares her writing experiences shows students how the "seeds" of stories can come from everyday life. She urges students to carry a notebook with them at all times so they can record ideas for their own “seed stories.” Suzy will share the first chapter book she wrote in 5th grade, a pile of publishers’ rejections for her books, and gifts from students that have inspired her to keep writing.
