THE BURR PTO PRESENTS
Get Ready for the Burr Online Auction—March 19-25
We are less than two weeks away from the Burr online auction, which will run from March 19-25th! In addition to some of the auction items many of you have come to know and love (Disney World tickets, summer camps, birthday parties and restaurants), we are excited to be offering some new and exciting auction packages this year, including:
* an African safari—the trip of a lifetime! (6 days/6 nights on a South African safari reserve)
* an exclusive “tech” package for budding makers, programmers and the like, which includes a VIP tour of FormLab Studios (a leading 3D printing company in Somerville) and a class at the soon-to-be-opening Empow Studios in Newton, which teaches kids to design, build and code STEM projects!
* a freshly made and delivered breakfast for your family from Burr’s own baker extraordinaire Christine Dutt!
* a wine-tasting party for you and a some friends at Judith’s Kitchen!
* a “vet-for-a-day” experience at Commonwealth Veterinary Clinic in Auburndale!
And those are just SOME of the new offerings! In addition, a number of beloved Burr teachers will be auctioning off some super fun student experiences, including ice cream socials, craft and pizza parties, movies at West Newton Cinema, scavenger hunts, and a lot more. So stay tuned!! All proceeds benefit the Burr PTO, which goes right back to support the students, staff and programs of Burr School.
