THE BURR PTO PRESENTS

Burr welcomes Middlesex South District Attorney for a special presentation on keeping kids safe online

The Burr PTO is proud and excited to welcome Middlesex South District Attorney Marian Ryan to our next PTO meeting on Wednesday, April 4th to share her expertise on internet safety and how best to keep our kids safe when they are online. There are many ways our kids (yes, even at this young age) can be exposed to dangers in today's digital world, including social networking through online games, websites, newsgroups and more.  This is a rare opportunity to learn from one of Boston's foremost experts on this topic, so you won't want to miss it.

Join us at 6:30pm to hear all the latest happenings in the PTO, and plan for DA Ryan to start her presentation at 7pm. Mark your calendars and join us for this important (and free!) Burr event.

Understanding Our Differences March 14

Dear Families,

We need 7 volunteers to run the Deafness unit of Understanding our Differences for the 3rd grade on Wednesday March 14 from 9-10:30. You do not need to have a child in the grade or any prior training or knowledge. We will provide the script and materials for fun activities that volunteers run with small groups of children.

Can you help? Please email Deanna Salemme at Salemme@comcast.net or
call 617-877-7576 for more information.

Thank you in advance,

Deanna Salemme
