Tide Pools Alive!—May 30, 2017
The Creative Arts & Sciences Committee, which is fully funded by the Burr PTO, welcomes the New England Aquarium to Burr's kindergarten classes on Tuesday, May 30th from 9:45-11:45am.
This event from New England Aquarium takes students on an imaginary trip to the beach and a tide pool! They will use their five senses to bring alive a beach scene, including the sound of the waves and seagulls. Then students will explore and interact with sea stars, snails, mussels, clams and and hermit crabs while learning about basic biology and anatomy. Parents and guardians are welcome to join us for this wonderful event!
