2019 Newton Schools Foundation Honor Thy Teacher

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10! 

If you want to do something special for your child’s teacher or other staff this year, consider the Newton Schools Foundation’s Honor Thy Teacher program. Make a donation to NSF in the name of one or more teachers. Notifications will be sent to each teacher honored, as well as to Mindy Johal and the Superintendent. Teachers' names will appear in a special announcement on the NSF website and in the Newton TAB.

In the coming weeks, look for a flyer in your child’s backpack or in the U.S. mail if you have children in the upper grades. Your tax-deductible donation will support programs, curriculum and professional development in the Newton Public Schools encompassing art, civics, math, music, science, social and cultural studies, literature and writing instruction, and social-emotional learning.
